No but the goldfish one is very valid. No one was criticising him for the initial temporary solution to save the fish, but the tank he bought specifically for the fish is nowhere near suitable. Just because it concerns a fish doesn’t mean it’s not animal cruelty. If he cannot afford the upkeep of an adequate aquarium (and adequate aquariums are always huge and the maintenance is insane) he should be giving the fish to someone who can. Fish die in poorly maintained and far too small aquariums. They’re living beings, they deserve to be treated correctly.

how does a goldfish end up in someone's lawn? And how do you notice it , before it dies, as fish do out of the water. I think, the owner just wanted to have a back story for his new pet. -And purposely threw it on the grass to make a video.

When I was in middleschool-highschool and up till my first year of college, I didn't know how to load a dishwasher. Not because I'm a boy. Not because I was doing this weird weaponized incompetence. Because we didn't have a dishwasher for years. I grew up without a dishwasher. So I only know how to do dishes by hand. That's what I did. I washed them by hand. I didn't just leave them there to rot. It's called a sponge, fellas. It is not that hard to figure out. And if you somehow can't understand the concept of dish soap, water, sponges, and towels, things are going to be a lot harder for you. Like some of these other comments said, if somebody is going to weaponize incompetence, then bite back with belittling. Bruise that ego a bit. Maybe getting a taste of their own medicine will teach them a lesson. If I didn't know how to do something as a kid, my mother showed me how to do it. Even if it took a few times. Thanks, mum. To the goldfish one, I’m glad the fish was able to be saved and seems to be doing well. (I’m being a person in the video) I’m a career aquarist so that goldfish would actually need a 55+ gallon tank. I hope it is able to get an upgrade in the future, but kudos to that guy for saving it and giving it a new home

My boyfriend has a bit of this weaponized incompetence. Certainly not to the extant of those aholes in the video, but still. But I just don't know what to do. I tried several times, for several days, to stop washing dishes, vacuum, take out the trash, and washing only my clothes etc. but I always end up doing it anyway because I can't stand the mess and the smells and the flies and the overall chaos in our small apartment. We both have ADHD and struggle to do chores, but the mess just seems to bother him less overall. You guys have any ideas of a strategy? (Other than "leave him" because, yes, I know I still have this option even though we've been together for 16 years and adore each other.)
